JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa holds a special place in our hearts when it comes to creating cherished memories with our family.
As you approach the grand entrance, you’ll be greeted by the iconic pink flamingos 🦩, and the resort’s magnificent lobby is nothing short of a spectacle. With its captivating indoor boats guiding you outside through a captivating tour of the breathtaking property, it’s a sight to behold.
This journey showcases the resort’s outstanding amenities, which encompass a diverse range of dining options, inviting pools, a rejuvenating spa, tennis courts, and their renowned day spa. We have a soft spot for the newly added arcade and often stop by for a delightful dinner, all while basking in the beauty of the sunset.
Even though we call this place home, we find ourselves returning time and again to celebrate special occasions like romantic Valentine’s Day dinners at Mikado, fun birthday at the arcade, ringing in the New Year, or simply relishing a delightful dinner for no particular reason.

Omni Rancho Las Palmas – Rancho Mirage 🌴
Why We Love It:
The Omni Rancho Las Palmas has been the backdrop for countless cherished memories for our family. We love their water slides, lazy river, and splash pad. The evenings are equally delightful with entertaining swim-up movies and live music by the cozy fireside. We even had the pleasure of celebrating Thanksgiving dinner at this beautiful resort one year.
Adding to its allure is its prime location, just a brief stroll from The River. There, you can discover an abundance of dining and entertainment options, including the exciting new addition of Dave and Busters!

Why We Love It:
The Hyatt Indian Wells is a true desert gem for families, renowned for its vibrant ambiance and an array of family-friendly activities.
We stayed at this resort before its remarkable addition of a new waterpark, featuring the desert’s largest water slide and the addition of a lazy river, so of course as residents we had to do a staycation for Memorial Day.
Indian Wells itself radiates luxury, boasting meticulously manicured landscapes and upscale properties, setting the perfect stage for a luxurious getaway.

Desert Willow Westin – Palm Desert 🏌️♂️
Why We Love It:
In our search for the ideal desert residence, Desert Willow Westin quickly became our home away from home. The generously sized suites, complete with fully equipped kitchens, offer a comfortable, almost apartment-like experience, making it perfect for longer stays.
Now, as residents, we love the outdoor dining experience at the golf course restaurant, where we savor delicious meals while enjoying breathtaking views of the picturesque desert landscape. We’ve also marked special occasions here with a round of golf on one of their stunning 18-hole courses.
